In the current socio-political climate, there is a troubling trend in the way certain advocacy groups are being portrayed when challenging systemic injustice. The weaponization of anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism is being employed to undermine movements advocating for change and justice. In this post, I explore the complex dynamics at play when marginalized groups assert their rights and voices, and the subsequent backlash they often face. Remember: This is MY blog. The term anti-Semitism, defined as hostility to, prejudice, or discrimination against Jews, has a severe and justified weight given the historical and contemporary experiences of the Jewish people. It is a reality that must be confronted as should any anti-humanity behavior or policy.
